Your excursion will commence early in the morning, around 4:30 am, with a hotel pickup. Setting off from the Mediterranean shores, your journey will first take you through the picturesque landscapes of Kumluca, renowned for its tomato cultivation.

Arriving in Finike, an ancient seaport steeped in history, you'll continue onward to Myra. Here, you'll encounter the remarkable remnants of the Lycian civilization, including the awe-inspiring Necropolis, where intricately carved tombs adorn the landscape. Nearby, the ancient theater awaits your exploration.

Myra holds significance as the former seat of St. Nicholas, the bishop who introduced Christianity to Turkey. At the Church of St. Nicholas in Demre, adorned with vibrant frescoes, you'll pay homage to this revered figure and visit his sarcophagus. Additionally, you'll discover three other monuments dedicated to the saint in the surrounding area.

Following a delectable lunch at a local restaurant, a brief journey of about 30 minutes will bring you to the Ucagiz port. Here, you'll embark on a one-hour cruise to the sunken island of Kekova. Once a single landmass, Kekova was fragmented by an earthquake, resulting in a captivating landscape dotted with ancient ruins, fortresses, theaters, and submerged sarcophagi. As you explore the islands, you'll marvel at the glass window beneath the sea, offering glimpses of ancient artifacts scattered across the seabed. Weather permitting, you may even have the opportunity to swim in the pristine gulf waters.
