MondayCappadocia is characterized by its unique "fairy chimney" rock formations, cave dwellings, and underground cities shaped by centuries of erosion and volcanic activity. It also hosts numerous historical churches, monasteries, and other cultural sites that offer a glimpse into the region's past. Whether you're interested in exploring ancient ruins, hiking amidst breathtaking natural landscapes, or simply experiencing the local culture, Cappadocia is a destination not to be missed.
DAY 1;
The excursion begins with hotel pickups in Alanya starting from 4:00 am. You'll have a breakfast stop around 7:00 am, where you can buy snacks, tea, or coffee from a cafe if you haven’t received a lunch box from the hotel. Various breaks during the journey to Cappadocia ensure a smooth and comfortable trip. Upon reaching Cappadocia, get ready to be amazed by the extraordinary natural beauty, featuring stunning rock formations, fairy chimneys, and rock houses. Our first destination will be the Saratli underground city (Kirkgoz), where your guide will provide insights into its fascinating history. Then, we'll head to Pigeon Valley for a photo break, followed by a delightful lunch at a scenic restaurant overlooking the Uchisar valley. Explore Uchisar castle and a rock house before heading to Goreme Valley for a breathtaking panoramic view of Cappadocia. At Cavusin village, discover rock-cut churches and learn about their religious significance. On the way to the hotel, we'll visit an onyx workshop where you can purchase lovely souvenirs. The tour includes an overnight stay at a hotel in Urgup town, with an open buffet dinner provided. You can opt to relax, explore the city, or attend the optional folk dance show, the ‘Turkish Night,’ for an additional fee.
DAY 2;
In the morning, you have the choice to join a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, arranged by your guide (For an ADDITIONAL charge). We'll begin the day with an open buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out, and continue with the tour. We'll visit ‘The Three Beauties,’ remarkable fairy chimneys considered Cappadocia's emblem. Then, we'll explore Cappadocia's most popular and scenic valleys: Devrent, Pasabag, and Lover’s valleys.
